Go to a fair few Derby games, father-in Law is a supporter so I tag along.

Never stands out really for me, touted to Man Utd for 9m last season though so I'm obviously missing something. Just looks tidy, nothing more nothing less. Barkley is a cut above any young player in the league at the minute IMO.

Nothing to be bitter about. We actually have 2 attacking midfielders (at the age of 21 and 20 respectively), who are more talented than Ross Barkley, and will have a more impressive careers than him. They are not English, though.

the awareness and bossness to be able to do the little back heel flicks into the path of an on running player is very rare in footy players these days.
He seems to be getting better with every game. A total superstar in the making.
