Wasn't a 'sky sources', it was a ' Everton confirm'.

Anyhow, whatever it is, Ross is certainly going to miss the next couple of weeks. I'm guessing he could possibly be fit for the derby but I wouldn't hold my breath. Certainly hope we don't gamble, at all, with his fitness.
 

The daily mail is claiming he may be back in time for the derby. I cant post the link because Ive only just joined the forum, but if you google Ross Barkley and click News you should see it.
"However, the club has confirmed the injury was only a fractured toe - not a broken metatarsal - and Barkley has travelled with Everton’s squad for warm-weather training in Tenerife. The early signs are that he could even have a chance of making the Merseyside derby at Anfield on January 28"


It is the Daily Mail but still, I have a feeling he will be back in time to score the winner at the kop.......
