It'd be quite typically Everton to buy in a couple of new faces in the transfer window but Osman still managed to get ten starts between now and the end of the season.

I have been in with martin murray a few times before he turned pro. he was superb. good lad too.

I wouldn't put it past Kenwright to sell another jewel in the crown to provide 'investment' into the club. He has a lot of form doing this.

It sounds a plausible way 'forward' for Everton under that carpet bagger. The man who's overseen the exodus of some of the biggest talent ever produced by the club in order to keep himself in control.

Worst thing to hit Everton since John Houlding.

I wouldn't put it past Kenwright to not sell him.
He's also not sold our crown jewels on occasion.
 

I think we can have a 10m transfer budget in the summer if we can persuade Chelsea to give us 40m for young Ross.

Joking aside, who'd take 20m plus Lukaku for Ross?

Nope. I see more in Ross than I do in Lukaku. Don't get me wrong, Lukaku is a massive talent, but I think this season we've seen a lot of flaws that just aren't going away. He's missing great opportunities. For me if a striker's not scoring goals, he's not doing his job. Where as with Ross we've seen him do his job better than Lukaku's doing his.
 

Ross Barkley should be the clubs talisman, our Gerrard, our Scholes.

He should be tied into a long term contract now and the side built around him. Under no circumstances should he be leaving Everton for the next 3-5 years and we should be selling him a vision of where we are going with him in the side.

Not trading him in for any other lesser quality players or selling him to make other teams around us better.

I am aware that every player has a price, but let's just not go there with this one yet.
