Do not place your own asterisks
Lazy journalism has already got Ross labelled as the player who loses the ball too often. Example, todays Sunday Telegraph - player summary: Barkley made a bad early mistake but was excellent after that! F*** me, he got the ball in a tight situation as soon as he had come on and couldn't get a decent enough hold of the ball. Big deal. Compare with Johnson who lost it half a dozen times in comfortable situations even before the storms set in, and Wilshere who in a 5 minute spell midway through the second half tried to run through the opposition defence 3 times and lost the ball each time!

****Sensible post alert***
I think it's good that we can question a manager even when its all going well as it allows us to be good judges. We may not always be right and opinions not always valid, but it gives us a rough idea where a manager is performing or not, so we can see when Martinez is taking the absolute piss or we've stumbled across the greatest club manager of all time.
I think we should all reflect on how lucky we are to not be North Korean though.
Of course it is mate, you need a healthy sense of cynisim to be objective, I am actually right 99% of the time though

Looks like he's sharing with Jagielka in Brasil. Keep him away from people trying to tap him up!

Martinez should have given both Jags and Baines strict instructions to never be more than 5 foot away from him and rugby tackle anyone who looks like an agent.
