What exactly are you basing this on? We have essentially the same squad as last year plus besic.I don't know why everyone is so down beat. Martinez will bring in players. Losing Barkley is a loss, but we've got enough quality to push this season..
We've already spent over 30m, m8
Pienaar can play no.10, as can McGeady and Naismith
I'd rather we spent what little money we may have left on a long term signing, not a quick fix who probably wouldn't be any better than what we already have
Of money raised from player sales over the last 2 seasons (Fellaini, Jelavic, Anichebe). We should have money, we should be spending.
We won't.
Nope, we have spent 30m.
Dont make me math you.
Naismith was one of our best players today as was pienaar, I don't see why we need to that, Naismith plays well when there is someone in front of him

This. Probably loads of swelling, but at the moment it's looking like it could be December before he's back playing - maybe mid-november back to training. Can't risk it with knee ligaments
It could be five months, but it could also be "seven weeks." I'm remaining optimistic for the latter.
Either way, the quotes didn't seem like Martinez (or the training staff) had a strong indication of just how severe the injury is. Every media entity is playing up the five months bit. Martinez would've been better off saying as little as possible until the MRI.
No he wouldn't but none of our attacking players would get in the top 4 and for me he's the most suited to play that positionWhat a shitter if it's long term!!!
For those championing Naismith...be realistic lads, he's shown he's a great squad player who can come in and do well but would any of the top 4 sign him?? NO they would not!!
