GERARD DEULOFEU has told Barcelona to sign Everton midfielder Ross Barkley.

The 23-year-old England international looks set to leave Goodison Park this summer after snubbing a contract extension.

He has less than a year left on his current deal and is attracting plenty of interest.

Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham have all been linked with an interest.

But, according to reports in Spain, Barkley could emerge as a target for Barcelona.

Deulofeu, who re-joined the Catalan giants from Everton on a permanent deal this summer, wants his former team-mate at the Nou Camp.




This story gets more bizarre each day.

Fair point I just can't stand him, it's not even the RS or England connection he's just a balloon.

I do think it effected Ross though, public dressing down off your team manager fair enough but the national manager has no right to do that, he was just trying not to be a yes man and just came across a twerp and affected a young lad

I actually think hodgson handled Barkley pretty well in the main. He gave him plenty of caps and took him to the World Cup when in all honesty he'd hardly been setting the world alight. Since hodgsons gone I'm not sure he's played a minute of international football.
