If Ross has no intention of signing a contract at Everton then his game is pretty obvious. So just for that reason I would keep the fee at £35m in January and if no one pays it then take a hit and don't let him go and don't play him. Let him go for free in the summer but at least he won't be going to the World Cup. Then when he returns with his new club at goodison we give him hell and we get to watch a grown man cry on the pitch.


If he does sign for us then ignore the above lol

If somehow the club ends up looking the bad guy here.... Pretty sure it's [Poor language removed]. I want to ff 10 years to read Ross's Book. I want to hear this is a bully job, pushed out by a cruel manager.... Cant help thinking though this is a Stretford type move here... Money to be made perhaps.... Unfortunatly Ross aint Wayne....in prowess or thinking skills.

There's no doubt the decision has nothing to do with Chelsea. They'd have signed him - the fact he was having a medical confirms it.

He's either been tapped up by Spurs very late on, or... I don't know, it makes absolutely no sense. Even if we can (probably correctly) argue he's going to run his contract out, why has he decided to do that in the middle of a medical???

i was thinking this possibly, but as moshiri said, all the papers were signed etc. The only thing that could possibly be the case is that the medical was undertaken by chelsea just to confirm his injury to an extent and they've told ross and his agent to come back to us and they'll buy him in jan then for a lower fee but both those two will get bigger signing on fees.

Could be a snake way of doing it, but based on the amount of players turning chelsea down lately i doubt they'd risk that ha.

If he won't sign a new contract after this whole fiasco (im desperately hoping he sees sense but it wont happen) then the club should just tell him to stay away from Goodison and Finch Farm. Turn down a move in Jan and stuff the money, make him go a full season without any kind of football. Screw the little snake If that's how he wants to play it.

Or it's a speed type move by the club mate, remember how much hate he received after that, until the truth came out years later?
