I am saying that me writing my opinion about him on an Internet forum shouldn't be labeled "toxic abuse" I don't even watch Everton live anymore as I have lived in Aus for the last 8 years... that's why I find it confusing that I am told that I am part of the problem to why Barkley plays crap

Woah there horsey am not sure what you are on about there, maybe you have me confused with someone else, i have no idea what this has to do with me

Lot of bickering on here and quite a lot of divided opinion on Barkley.

I am just going to wait now and watch it unfold before I have any further opinion on him
. I have said what I thought of him, I hope he comes back and smashes any doubts I have right out of the ball park.

wrong! you have to absolutely crucify him and want him dead based on nothing more than hear say and the daily mail.

it's what we do.

so you didnt quite say that but the initial conversation that you got involved in was on that subject

so either they are interested or they are not?

Isn't the general consensus that he's joining Spurs for buttons in January rather than waiting until the summer? Some have even talked of it being a "done deal". I'm just saying it doesn't appear to be as much of a done deal as people are thinking, as things seem to be unusually quiet at their end, even when Chelsea had a bid accepted at the last minute in the summer Spurs didn't seem overly keen on fighting for their man.

Yes Levy is playing the waiting game, he wants him on the cheap, he wont pay full price for Ross as he is tight as but they are definitely interested for the right price

Mate are you shagging him or something?

So we can't voice any concerns about any other player or manager because Barkley will take offence ... are you serious..

If I'm at work and someone is getting a bollocking.... I don't need my mates to come over and tell me that it's not about me and everything will be ok...

So basically cannot play in any environment where criticism is present? Lol can't wait for opposition fans to figure that out.
Are you stupid he cleary has issues. What he doesn't neeed is unfair abuse from people like you & being called out publicly by a fat headed Dutch man.

You don't get anything from staff by publicly bollocking them in front of the world or their peers.

Danny higginbottam said whenever stoke were rubbish at half time regardless if he was man of the match pulis picked on him as he knew he could take it but others in the 11 couldn't & would shrink & it's the same in every team.

You and Ronald probably could do with learning from this, Ross clearly needs support not unjustified criticism that doesn't mean he can't be criticised however the manner & context in which which it is delivered is the issue.

Why does he want him on the cheap mate when he was willing to pay £30m for Moussa Sissoko last season? Isn't it better to have a player for a full season rather than half of it, especially if as people seem to think, Pochettino wants Barkley so much?

why pay £30m when you can wait 3 months when he is injured for most of the first half of the season anyway and get him for £10m or better still on a free a few months after that

I was talking with someone else... about the above... then you quoted my post and said you were confused ...

Well

1 you say he is destined to be a mid table starter for the rest of his career - what do you think we are, we have been mid table for years and now we are not even that atm, we are in the relegation zone so mid table is a step up atm

2 chelsea and tottenham both want him, neither are mid table teams

hence you post is stupid

1) I don't believe we'll remain in the relegation zone. They are not even a quarter through the season, may it end up lower on the mid-table side, even border line mid table because of the bad start, sure.

2) Neither of those teams signed him, and he was never going to start on those. So is their much difference in a depth player at Tottenham or Chelsea vs a mid table starter? Isn't this starting to draw parallels to the Gylfi debate? Couldn't cut it at Tottenham but excelled at Swansea? We're talking Chelsea and Tottenham, this isn't off the bench at Bayern, Real, or Barca. The important point is, neither of those two are making much difference on a poorly constructed team.

But go ahead continue with your ignorance and irrelevant points failing to see the bigger picture. Not having Ross in the squad is not the issue with the team and I don't think he'd make a difference.

How many games has winks started for Tottenham this season? Do you think he would have started them if Barkley had signed for the.

Your confusing yourself mate... not once did I mention he was going to a mid table team... I said Chelsea won't want him... as In January... any team in Europe would sign a 23 year old England international on a free transfer (wages depending ofc) financially there is no risk...

I think you maybe debating with Ross himself

Of course Chelsea or Tottenham would take him on a free as a rotational player. That wasn't exactly the point I was making. His ceiling is a mid table starter in my opinion. And those really don't make a great difference if you were looking to take the leap we all endlessly chase.
