Gets better every game he misses. Everyone just forgotten the two seasons of complete anonymity and victim behaviour.
Barkley has became three times the player he is since his injury, he would have solved all our defensive problems, and scored as many as Sterling by now if he was fit.
Looking forward to getting the parasite off the wage bill.
Played well for six months last season, and would give us a different option if he was fit.
Plainly he ain't world class, and he likely wouldn't make much difference against the "better" teams, but he'd give us something we havn't seen much of this season in the middle of the park against the weaker teams.
I’ve never doubted his talent but I’m growing tired of watching Everton players who take the easy way out. We have cult heroes who had far less talent but have everything for us but to be honest since Martinez’s first season we’ve seen nothing but a group of players who have collectively taken the easy way out whenever given the option. Ross is sadly part of this. He’s great when the team is built around him and he’s at home against poor opposition. Any other scenario he’s practically useless.

Re Barkley. Originally we were under the impression he would be back in training end of November early December due to a couple of setbacks it took longer. We wanted to be sure he was fully fit before signing him which means the Summer now. Barkley is desperate to go to the WC and knows he needs to play in order to do so, and that means moving now. Put those two together and that means it's very unlikely to be to us.
That leaves Chelsea then.

It frustrates me that every time lose this thread is full of people saying oh how much we missed Ross, and we would definitely have won 4 nil if Ross had played.
Ross doesn't want to play for us ever again. Ross has messed us around with the longest hamstring injury in history. He has effectively refused to play for us. He is not going to be part of our future. He is going to leave imminently. It is entirely his choice and a choice he will inevitably regret. He is irrelevant.
If that were true, then would it not be sensible for him to get his act together and play for us? Even after everything, he'd walk into the team.Spurs ITK
