Who ran Stones out? I must have been living on another universe as I could've sworn he spent two summers trying to get out and handing in transfer requests.

And calling him all sorts? all fans of all teams and countries shout stuff at all players...not all players get their song sang for the full length of half time and throughout the games - he even shared and 'liked' the videos of them. He's had huge banners displayed declaring how much the fans love him.

I do agree with players being sold and that frustrates me...but don't blame this on the fans

Very strange that he wouldn't 'say it as it is' on this subject in any of the press conferences when things were going well, don't you think? Suddenly we hit a bad run and he tells us that he's known all along that this was the case. Almost as if he's trying to give fans something else to focus their fume on and/or highlight what a difficult job he's got on his hands and we couldn't possibly expect anything other than a long hard slog. But then a load of fans just lap it up as good old sam telling the truth.

Maybe Ross had already made his stance clear to Farhad, hence him getting called out? Sounds like Ross decided a long time ago he was leaving and never had any intention of ever extending his contract. It's just a shame the club didn't wise up earlier and ship him out 18 months ago for a decent fee.

Ross is a snake, pure and simple. he has shafted the club that nurtured him since a boy, his home town club that he grew up a fan of. A club that has nursed him through 2 major injuries while still paying him hansom wages, and his gratitude is to engineer a free move away with maximum bonus for himself.
I really can't understand ANY fan of this club that backs Ross in this scenario. As a fan, you should want what is best for your club, and that involves recouping money on departures to reinvest. FFP rules mean we cant plow in unlimited money like Chelski and City did to rise up, therefore it is paramount we generate as much business revenue as possible.

Plus he is a waste of space on the pitch as well, but that's just a bonus of him going.

If he is a waste of space on the pitch, why have you wrote an essay about him?

Just admit, he is a good player and you are sad to see him go.
