Dont know if any body watches this show. I really like it, good insite to how other countrys cope with gangs. It's pretty hard hitting stuff an has been to most citys in the world.

Last night was the turn of Liverpool. This was meant to be shown in September but was shelved till the Rhys Jones verdict. I watch it last night, an TBH was ashamed of are great city.

The Croccy crew an the noggzies. Utter embaressing retards. who the [Poor language removed] do they think they are. Some of the [Poor language removed] they were coming out with. Uneducated bell-ends. Any of their parents watching last night must know thats their son. Going on about guns an killing people. They really need to get a grip.

I feel safe walking around Liverpool. I dont think its that bad here. But last night we were portrade as a thug culture. An you cant leave your house with out being shot at. My anti lives in Croxtoth an i walk around no problams in that area.

Finaly, i hope these litte shithouses all go to nick. An the the same treatment that little [Poor language removed] mercer is getting. After laughing in the dock at the trial. Bett he's not laughing any more after getting his nose broke an head stamped on in jail. Years of that to come for that littl faggot. Hope they all get it in the end...

Did ayone else see it last night..?

What did you think...?

Seen some of it on foxtell about usa, columbia and so on but not seen this one yet. But when i was back last july seen some of the gangs hanging around street corners with their dogs trying to look really hard, but they didn,t frighten me because I,M A HARD LITTLE [Poor language removed]

I watch maybe 10 minutes of the show. Hard man went to Afghanistan, Columbia, Brazil then has to interview these bunch of [Poor language removed].

Ross: OK, why do you hate the other gang
Group: Cos we hate them
Ross: Well, is it about drugs (answering his own question) ,there aren't much drugs about?
Group: We don't like em
Ross: (trying hard to get some real meaning from the group and growing increasingly frustrated); its about post codes...

After that I turned off. Yes, it might have given a bad impression of the city of liverpool, hopefully others saw it as a bunch of knobheads with nothing meaning in their lives trying to live out some gangster universe.

An embarrassing episode in an otherwise good show with real gangs who have real issues.

gun crime and sex crime not get a mention.

how odd.

Contrary to public perception, the overall level of gun crime in England and Wales is very low – less than 0.5% of all crime recorded by the police.

  • The number of overall offences involving firearms fell by 13% in 2006/07 compared to the previous year.
  • Firearms were involved in 566 serious or fatal injuries in 2006/07, compared to 645 the previous year - a drop of 12%.
  • The number of armed robberies involving guns dropped by 3%
  • There were 13% fewer serious and fatal injuries related to gun crimes in 2006/07.
  • The number of reported crimes involving imitation guns dropped by 15% in 2006/07.
  • The number of reported crimes involving air guns dropped by 15% in 2006/07 over 2005/06.
All statistics provided by independent-non Government sources.

If you observe trends over the longer run, you'll see even bigger drops.

Sex crime is a very difficult area to examine due to its nature. Some stats will say it has increased since 1997, others will disagree. Example. Anti-Labour will say there has been a reduction in the prosecution rate of rape - on the other hand, there have been a hell of a lot more being taken to court were in the past this wasn't the case.

So like I initially said, you, like the majority who are quick to kick off about the CJS have very little knowledge other than whats in newspapers so effectively you are a victim of media proliferation. Dont like it? Try reading some independent, reliable sources - rather than just going by what newspapers will print to sell.

what were the stats on youths with firearms?
  • Firearms were involved in 566 serious or fatal injuries in 2006/07, compared to 645 the previous year - a drop of 12%.
    what constitutes serious?
  • The number of armed robberies involving guns dropped by 3%
robberies of what? how many robberies weren't reported? how many cases could no evidence of a firearm be proven?
  • There were 13% fewer serious and fatal injuries related to gun crimes in 2006/07.
    serious?
  • The number of reported crimes involving imitation guns dropped by 15% in 2006/07.
    reported?

off the top of my head, how many pro animal types cant now ring in due to the hunting laws reducing guns in the hands of the public? "reported" and all that!

So, what newspapers are these?

Blair downgraded cannabis from 'B' to 'C'. Brown upped it to 'B' again. Who decides where police resources are spent? conflict of interests? independent that.

Watched it last night on download. Oops am I contributing to the escalating crime in the area?

Anyway, I thought it was spineless, embarassing, and most of all what really shocked me was the lack of bollocks these supposed hardmen of Liverpool had. Now I'm not going to say that I would take them in a brawl. I'm not a violent man, and I generally avoid it as often as I can. I'm 33. But these kids, and they are kids - act like they are soldiers in a war.

From what I saw the only element that was making them be who they were was an uneducated need and desire to look hard and to gain an image that made there ego's look large in front of their peers.

The very fact that they had their voices disguised and faces hidden just shows what a bunch of sniggering [Poor language removed] bags they really are. And they had the front to **** off the LA gang members for wearing coloured bandanas, well at least they showed their faces and weren't scared to admit what they were in the face of the media.

Liverpool isn't a slum, there isn't a massive drug trade, there isn't racial segregation. It is a thriving city. Say what you like about Wayne Rooney and Collette, but they both have risen out of the ashes of a supposed turf war over egos born out of one school.

It was pathetic, and that clown who was leaving the gang and was hiding his face. [Poor language removed] me, he had a van that said "[Poor language removed] Matrix", what was the point of hiding your face you [Poor language removed] idiot.

Laughable.
