In fairness, playing giants against midgets should have always been the plan. Did well to turn it around but Japan believed too much and should have kept it tight and played for extra time once the Belgium second went in.

I wasn't rooting for Japan as they would be very weak against Brazil especially after pulling this upset (same scenario in every sport), so it is ok, but damn, what a choke. First two idiotic goals conceded with terrible msitakes from Japanese goalie, then at last minute, Japan god knows why ATTACKED full force and then received a counter attack from Belgium in last seconds. Yes you read it well, Japan, a weak side received a counter attack from Belgium, the tournament heavyweight. There was something wrong. Especially after you were up 2-0 and couldnt keep it, you should have been more careful and force for the penalty shoot out.

The coach should resign, he should have told them not to go full force in 90+4.

Shame that two fantastic goals from Japan gone wasted. But good that Belgium with the moral boost should give a test to Brazil.
