my two cents from Colombia...

Playing Colombia sans James was like playing an Allerdyce side. The officials were so horrid they visited the bar we were at and doled out six yellows to the table next to me.

The Kane PK was legit, the rest of the match garbage until the ref bothered to start handing out yellows to the lions. Garbage. Absolute garbage. Watched Stones shove a player multiple times, Maguire or whatever shove Cuadrado numerous times running to the corner without a foul, let alone a card. If this were 30 years ago, some dude in Medellin would have erased both the ref and the dbag. Trippier or whatever should just shorten his name to "Tripper" to make it more English-accurate, like "Baker" or "Miller".

Mina, the hero of the Senegal match, no crap, started a Mina chant during Colombia's first corner at, what, minute 90+3... another hombre joined in, then the entire "food hall". Chaos ensued.

Waiting to hear the Scum (after ripping Colombai about Shakira and coke... while people die here so yanks and brits can snort beak) praise Henderson for whiffing while ignoring Pickford's heroics.


Frankly, mood after watching Young practice his diving to nail the Triple Lindy in the next summer Olympics is, "thanks for the music, thanks for Everton... set fire to the rest of it."

If you guys somehow played El Tri for the final, I would root for either Cthulu or Giant Meteor. Preferably both.

If the referee was worth his salt Columbia would have been down to at least 10 men for most of that match.
