It was a good friend of mine who started this thread, unknown to me till I saw it, and I and Nikkis sister have drawn an awful lot of strength from it, believe me.

I was told today that tons of her (sisters) extended family in Eire have lit candles and had prayers in the village they all live. Neither of us asked, we just got told.

Its the same thing.

No need to be shy mate. I have been open about it.

In summary, 4 heart attacks in 2 hours on NYE. Was called into the hospital, (she had been there a week anyrate), at 8.00pm on NYE, was told its unlikely she will survive, but did. And so far, still is.

Know we havent seen eye to eye at times on topics but we are all human at the end of the day and football comes second to everyday life and the challenges that we are faced with.

They already have mate. It was astonishing they kept her on NYE, even if I do give Nikki quite a bit of credit as well.

So sad when I learned about it mate. Asked Dave what had happened when I saw this thread. Not been that active on here for quite a while. So, lost a bit of contact since I moved out of mod central. Genuinely feel sorry for you and your wife. We have never met, but always thought of you as an genuine nice person. Hope she makes a full recovery. I'll be rooting for the both of you.
