Just read every word of this thread and am sitting with tears in my eyes at the love and courage expressed by you. Sincere condolences from a stranger. You are an example to us all.
That reply right there is the love and courage I was referring too. (My bloody eyes again).Me? Just a bloke who was lucky enough to meet and fall in love with an amazing person. Luckier still to have that love returned.
The replies on here, and the random examples of humanity from others in the real world really move me, and are very humbling.

I have no doubt at all that you'll get through it. You both were clearly blessed by having what everyone searches for and that will see you through. The support that has been clearly demonstrated here shows you are not alone. One day at a time.Mate, I am terrified what the future might hold now. But I just have to shelve that for now, attend to all the crap that anyone else who has dealt with this will know all about, and see what tomorrow will bring.
Today was a "good" day, down to the random humanity of folk in the real world. Tomorrow? Dunno.

Couldn't agree more, met my future wife when she got my order wrong at a cafe in Waterloo station.Folk should stop searching for the intangible. Firmly believe that if its there, "it" will find you. We were both perfectly happy with our lot before we met, neither were searching. Then she offered to buy me a pint.
