there goes any chance of back to back grand slams, suppose there is a reason why that has never done in 4/5/6 Nations history.
the 6 Nations title is still there for us in Dublin next week however
England has their homework done and implemented a near perfect game plan to overcome the calibre of this Irish team. and it took England's best performance since they beat New Zealand in the 2019 World cup to get over the line

What a day of rugby that was, that was coming from Italy. You could just feel that they were getting close, hopefully use the fact that was not as surprising a win as it would have been over the past few years and kick on.

England were superb, outplayed the best team in the world for most of the game. Moving in the right direction and playing some good stuff with it.

Day of shocks, great for the Championship.

Congrats England, great performance, shows how well we’ve done when we’re disappointed not to win back to back Grand Slams, shout out to the U20s last night too, brilliant game. .

Hopefully we wrap it up next week, great start to the cycle if we can come home with the Championship.

Others may disagree, however I felt for the first time in a while that there was genuine grit and tenacity in this England time. I've questioned our character for a while.

Today, they had it in abundance.

It's been done by several sides across the history of the tournament, last being France and England also did it in the early 90s. The others do go way back tbf.
