That last penalty was really stupid. And they did score two tries from out lineouts. In fairness the first one was a great move but the second was so sloppy.
To a degree I get what you’re saying, but in a game that tight against a team as good as France I feel there’s no shame in losing by two points

Edit - that and the winning penalty was soft imo and playing against Ramos must be savage with how good and consistent his kicking is

I agree there’s no shame in the loss. Away against France is always going to be tough and we played really well. But I do think our sloppiness cost us the win.

Anyway, it was a really good performance in general and a great match. Good signs for England moving forward too.

I agree, I think England look like a team where the tactics are slowly coming together.

To be fair I’m an Ireland fan and it’s easy to overanalyse losses (last week you 100% deserved to beat us) but I think you definitely played well this 6N for the most part
