I dont like to do hyperbole but if Jack Crowley can iron out some decision making, which will come with experience - Ireland have somehow been able to replace Sexton, who somehow replaced O'Gara seamlessly.

I was looking to cast against the butt slamming given England at Twickenham. It's in Marseille.
France were clueless in the end, ran out of ideas. But Ireland do what they always do well, play in the opposition half and make teams make mistakes. Take nothing away from Ireland, but I don’t think they were brilliant by any means.Little unkind to Ireland that
I dont really understand what you're saying. Ireland led wire to wire. France didnt implode, they had a 5 mins spell at the end of the 1st half. Ireland controlled that game very well.France were clueless in the end, ran out of ideas. But Ireland do what they always do well, play in the opposition half and make teams make mistakes. Take nothing away from Ireland, but I don’t think they were brilliant by any means.
Yip, the last time the French got steamrolled like that on home soil was probably when they got blitzkrieged in 1940...Brilliant performance. Controlled the game, the winning margin was a indication of Irelands dominance. winning like that in Marseille is a real statement of intent.
McCarthy probably deserved motm, Gibson park superb as well.
A great point, tbf to McCarthy he was immense and stood out before the red.I had Gibson - Park as my man of the match, he just kept the game moving forward all the tine. He has something no other scrum half has in the 6N , all the rest faff about getting players in the right position, he just fizzes the ball around , keeps the momentum going.
Joe McCarthy was excellent, but maybe an easier ride tonight with one of his opposite numbers being red carded gave him a bit more breathing space. It’s rare for back to back Grand Slams to occur but on paper that was Ireland’s hardest game and it’s certainly on again, a great performance from them.
? 12Ireland were good but France being down to 12 for most the game makes it hard to judge how good.
A last minute held up try away from a SF v Argentina. Tbh there doesn't seem to be any hangover.Brilliantly coached side Ireland, they must still kick themselves over that world cup.
Biggest points total as well. I think that the most we scored in France before was 31 pointsNice start to the new cycle, some performance to drop on French soil and picking up a bonus point
Under 20s also going for the third grand slam in a row, looking alright.
