Wasn’t quite a battering, but unfortunately we never really looked like winning. Even when we got back to 8-8, always felt Saints had that X factor which we were lacking. The main positive is that we won’t have to suffer Peter Matautia in a Wires shirt anymore

I’m hoping Burgess. I’m a bit gutted that he’s not going back to Saints and is choosing the pie eaters instead, but we’ll see how it turns out.

We've been trying to get teams in new areas for as long as I can remember, so it's great that Cats seem in such a strong position.

I've got a lot of respect for him in the way he's reinvented himself as a player when that electric pace went a bit.
