Naughty hit on Welsby there to get that equalizing try. No intention of going for the ball and a slap on the shoulder/neck puts him off just enough

1st try as well, no intention from the Panthers player to go for the ball, just takes aim at Welsby as shoulder charges him out the way

As a season ticket holder at Saints and at Goodison, it was one of the best days of my sporting life.

It just doesn't get better than beating the best the NRL have to offer in their own backyard.

Not like it was a smash and grab win either, Saints won after dominating the majority of the game. 13-12 actually flattered the hosts. The 'try' disallowed for a forward pass at 12-6 was a joke as it a flat pass at best. No way was it forward.

Not often you can say your hometown club is the best in the world at any sport, but us from St Helens can say that right now.

Maybe last week wasn’t a one off.

St Helens absolutely magnificent there, and fully, fully deserved, I have to say!

Super League is a lot more of a weaker product nowadays, but for whatever reason Saints are just brilliant at producing quality players. Welsby, Dodd excellent again.

Delighted for the 150 or so fans who travelled over.
Beating Penrith is a decent scalp, but I wouldn't read too much into the victory against St George the week before.

Beating the Dragons is akin to beating Hebden Bridge Mill Workers

Beating anyone in Australia, is a huge achievement for a British side. A few years ago, Saints got scalper 39-0, by the Rabbitohs at home and haven’t beaten an Australian side since beating Melbourne in Bolton.

To turn up, and beat a pair on back to back weekends is a great achievement and a perfect advertising for the sport.

Decent start for Saints. Looked knackered in the second half but it's going to take a bit of time for us to get back up to full speed.
Bring on Leeds!!

You've got to give Leeds credit for last night. I'm not having the excuses regarding Kendall ect. We didn't do enough and deserved to lose. We've won enough in recent years and so need to take it on the chin and accept defeat with a bit of grace when things go wrong.

Went to Leigh with Saints tonight and we got what we deserved after a second half of the most inept rugby I've seen from a St Helens side since the Cunningham era.

Comfortable first half but haven't a clue what Wellens said to them at half time as we went to pieces after that and we got what's now the customary yellow card in the second half. Discipline cost us against Leeds last week and more of the same tonight. No doubt Lees will now join the others in copping for a ban.

Credit to Leigh they dominated the second half and fully deserved the win. I'm off to Goodison tomorrow and just hope it's not a weekend of double misery for me.
