Sickening. I am just hoping that she was just a lone psycho, not a part of some new radical group.

I understand that the police got there quickly ('cause they found the girl's body prior to her showing up with the head in public) and surrounded her, but they've waited some time to move because she was threatening to blow herself up. (or activate the bomb planted at the station)

There are some guys who were there, they said on Facebook that for about an hour there were no police and then police came and dont know what to do...

Nevermind, i think i found it.
It seems believable that she was out there for almost an hour because policemen were scared of her and OMON or whatever special forces who were supposed to help didn't come.

Or because they were making sure that she's not dangerous and will not blow the whole station up.

Difficult situation tbh, and i'm not surprised Russian police forces weren't able to deal with it properly, they're about as efficient at catching criminals as Tim Howard at catching balls.

Yes they are usually very quick when there are some protest groups against Putin, even pensioners.
