A man and wife are walking through Red Square in Moscow and they're debating if it's raining or is it sleet.
The husband see's one of his old friends and say's to the wife, 'there's my old friend Rudolph, he's a member of the communist party so I'll ask him, he will know and he can decide'

The husband comes back and say's 'it's rain', and so she asks, 'how can your old friend be so sure'

he replies
'Rudolph the red know's rain dear'

Conflict with Russia moves a step closer:

Syria no-bombing zone on agenda as Boris Johnson meets allies

No-bombing zone means no way for Russia to prevent the rebels from taking over unless they do ground troops.

If this becomes policy, we will wait to see if Russia either blinks first and falls back (de-escalation) or breaks the policy ('provocation'), then it's the West's turn to blink or hit.

Not a chance of us imposing a no-fly zone in Syria. That boat sailed a long time ago...Nothing flies above Syria unless Russia agree to it. Boris is way out of his depth here.

This is all hysteria there are no winners in a nuclear conflict conventional warfare is a thing of the past
if anyone thinks Syria is a reason for turning the globe into dust is a idiot !
