You can’t be losing 4 or 5 in a row and expect not to be in the firing line. Unacceptable no matter what spin people can try to put on it.
 

Why? I think he's done a good job at Villa after all. Took them from 14th place in the Championship to the PL and a league cup final. I know worse.
I agree that he's done a fantastic job, but our owners are "highly ambitious" whatever that means.

I think it's with the poor form we've shown throughout 2021, and now we are dangerously close to the relegation battle.

Last odds I checked were all name managers - Ranieri, Benitez, Rodgers, Bielsa.

Cull the dead wood and there's nothing left but name managers whose teams are struggling, managers in a honeymoon period, and the guys whose jobs are secure.
