I dont think he is the worst manager in the world talent wise. I just hate him as he managed the RS. Apart a new manager bounce, i dont see who will make them a better team

I occasionally listen to a few football podcast, and there was a good one I listened to with Matt Mills.

He was the captain of Reading, and they were bottom of the league under Rodgers, and he’s basically said that if anyone has been in the sport, purely for the fame it’s Rodgers.

Worth a listen, sounds like he’s a total headcase. Talking seriously about changing the system and he starts banging on about some belt.

Gutted he’s gone. He’d have taken them down.

I've read about the Reading saga and how the player was asking about his future, but Rodgers was more focused on his new designer belt or something.

There was the whole envelope thing at the RS too. Yet, he appears to get results for a period of time at each club, and to be fair Leicester have not invested.

But, I get a feeling that he's one of those quirky characters who is a bit like marmite: he'll get them going ,whereas others look at him as some real tit.

Eventually, it looks as if more people that not realise he's a weirdo and it all falls apart, until he moves elsewhere.

He's truly a terrible manager. Leicester still have decent players too. This should have happened long ago.

The talent level in their squad is mid table at absolute worst. 19th is shocking.

So many of this managers have a shelf life and must eventually bore the players , that’s why the long running successful ones must really be something special to keep that going .

Also it seems clear loads of them really are snake oil salesmen that beguile chairman and or fans and seem to keep themselves in situ despite all rational thinking .
