Sad News - Our friend, Roydo

Gutted to read this. Not because I knew him - never had the pleasure - but over the many years I've been reading and posting here @roydo was always a name that would stop the doom scroll, always a voice that was worth your time, whether it was about Bristol, pensions, Everton or anything in between.

He's such a loss to this community, and the loss is such an example of why this community matters. RIP Mark and all the condolences in the world to your family x

GUTTED - a sad day for the GOT such a great guy - I posted him plants advised him how to eradicate his bamboo etc - he was always full of gratitude a very approachable moderator - he will be sadly missed - such bad luck in losing his beloved wife too - just devastated on this sad news - RIP mate ....

It's with a heavy heart that I have to share some devastating news.

Our friend @roydo has suddenly, and unexpectedly, passed away.

Mark, who would have celebrated his 59th birthday tomorrow, was such an integral part of our community, dedicating endless hours to nurturing and moderating Grand Old Team for over 10 years.

Mark cherished this community deeply, and often spoke of how he found solace and support following the loss of his partner, Nikki.

I know we'll all miss him tremendously.

Thanks @roydo - you were one of the best pal. A true gent, and an honour to have called a friend.

I'll share this thread with Marks family, and I await to hear if there's anyway we can support/donate.
