He had to give 2 samples, if he didn't take the ban and appealed then they test the second sample even more vigorously than the first under extreme scrutiny. He accepted the ban, so the 2nd sample gets binned. Then a load of smoke and mirrors and mistakes occurred resulting in him getting his self ban lifted.

Now If that was me or anyone else with nothing to hide I'd be screaming blue murder to test the second sample as soon as possible to clear my name. I mean somebody might think you were taking a drug to mask other banned substances, which to my belief that a certain specific diet drug can be used to do
They've obviously decided to cut there losses and bin him, the common sense move which I am suprised as they usually brazen there mistakes out as not to look foolish (but always ultimately do)

It was going on for years in athletics pretending to use a diet drug but it was really masking performance enhancing substances. Made all the more bizarre by Sakhos best mate in liverpool toure being given a 6 month ban a few years before for taking his wife's water tablets (another diuretic) you'd think they'd at least communicate with each other at some stage.

His eyes in the derby when he turned on lukaku had a Saturday night in concert square/ben Johnson thing about em, never mind him suddenly playing better, well with more resounding energy than he had ever expanded in his career to date. He was still rubbish but was all over the field for the full 90 minutes, scary

The rs had supposedly for given him over the drugs offence but then rhe gets sent home from preseason and now Klopp wants him out. Like him or not, he is a carthorse but that lot love such animals, he remains a firm fan favourite.
