No need to check; it's true.
It's just awful watching him at times. Dobbin or Simms deserve a go over him any minute of the game. Just tell them to be positive and run forward when they have the ball or to offer an option to a team mate needing a pass option. Those simple instructions alone would offer more useful impact than the lump would.

This guy is actually getting to Nyarko levels of how I want him out. I ain't expecting miracles from him in the twilight of his career but he's not even bothering with diet or fitness work from what is in front of my eyes is not acceptable.

1.5 seasons to go... ohh Everton you are a worry.

Basically another Cenk Tosun. A backup forward who offers nothing but cashing a check every week. When oh when will Everton learn to stop wasting money?

….we are talking about a very low bar here, but I think Tosun would be more effective, especially when chasing a goal.

Incredible Benitez blaming the fans reaction to Rondon’s appearance because he was substituting a defender for a forward but he was introducing the wrong forward. Dobbin is lively and alert, he plays on the front foot, his link player is clever, he can keep up with play & can sniff out a chance.

The fans were not wrong reacting like they did, they knew the introduction of Rondon was a wasted opportunity. I’m genuinely surprised how poorly Benitez sets his teams up and even more surprised how poorly he manages games.

Just like Rondon going to China to retire for the money and losing whatever sharpness he had left, a couple of seasons in that league seems to have finished whatever Benitez had left to offer as a manager (which I don't think was much, hence why he took the money and ran to China for one final payday)

At the end of every match, he looks like a schoolboy who is shocked that he only got 4 out of 10 in his spelling test, even though he didn't revise for them. Almost like he thought he'd be good enough to not have to. He has a genuine look of shock, anger and bewilderment on his face that whatever set up/tactics/plan he had, had failed for the 16th consecutive time.
