He's an upmost professional is our King Salaman same as Townie.

You can see why the former manager brought both in to try help motivate some of the wastrels in the squad who show a bit of effort every now and again.

…the over the top tackle which saw him sent-off when his team most needed him in those final games was utmost unprofessional.

Surely there was better options than him.

An experienced reserve for DCL and a good foil for some of the attacking mids and wide players to link up with. As a free signing it made sense, wasn’t his fault all our strikers got injured before he was fully fit and most of the fanbase hated him by association.

Lampard’s obviously looked at Simms in pre season and concluded he won’t be offering anything useful yet and loaned him out again. All those cries of ‘just play Simms and Dobbin ffs’ have disappeared now that Lampard is also choosing Rondon ahead of them.

100% mate.

I would also say the blokes confidence was knocked by those toxic fans who were booing the poor fella for simply being subbed on the pitch over Cristiano Dobbin etc.

You see it with McNeil, Tarks, Vinegar etc. slating the lads without even giving them a chance.

…not sure you’re right about Simms.

The club needs to shift players, Simms was in demand, Rondon wasn’t. Clubs preferred Simms to Rondon because he’s better.

I’d be very surprised if Rondon is main back-up when the window closes. If he is, it’s a huge concern given DCLs fragility.

He showed up easily a stone overweight even though he knew benitez was interested in him , done himself no favours there

That's not true. The booing was about the change. We were being overrun in midfield. It was booing the tactical ineptness of the manager. It wasn't about who was coming on.

….a fair bit of competition, but I reckon you’re the daftest poster on GOT.

Congratulations, it’s some achievement.
