He made no discernable difference when he came on, 2 flick ons midway between the halfway line and Villas box, after which he didn't have the legs to carry on his run to accept a return pass and he was far to slow trying to get on the nd of the cutback into the area about the 80 minute mark. The people trying to justify him are doing so not because they think he is good, but, because they are trying to justify the fact that a former manager gave him a 2 year contract. In my opinion, of course.
