It could be an opportunity for BFS to actually manage a team and get them in the top qtr of the table and Europe. Do not believe he has ever done that with a team.

Now that it's done the fanbase needs to back him. Results matter more than anything else and that's definitely something he's proven to get (although at a lower level in the league to where we want to be).

My main reason to not want him was style of football but hopefully he can prove us wrong. He has a more talented squad than he's ever had.

Look at where Burnley are, that says it all to me.

Imagine them in Europe, when most of the town haven't been further than Colne in their lifelol

I now live in Burnley, have done for nigh on 30 years many of the people I know are BFC fans and they do travel and support their team. Are you saying you have been further than the Liverpool boundaries apart from hols?

I will be honest like most i didn’t want Sam Allardyce and certainly not Sammy Lee but he is now our manager and he will get my support. He steadies the ship and then we progress big name manager to be in the dig out for our first game in our new stadium. COYB

The opposite - i believed we would get out of it and didnt need to panic.

I love Everton not Allardyce and his cronies, and people like me have been vindicated tonight

Hardly! It's one game & it was against West Ham.

It's just a bit silly to be playing that card already, in a high pitched voice "ooh I told you so" . No one likes a smart arse. Especially when your knee jerk reaction to one win is just as bad as the supposed knee jerk reaction to people believing we are in a relegation fight.

No need. Just enjoy the win! We all want the same for our club

this management lark is easy

A win against Huddersfield and a practice match at Limassol to get the defence and midfield sorted for the tin mine.

If we get 4 points from those two league games we can start to believe this season could yet make us proud of those in the RBJ, and banish the dreadful stuff we have seen.

Thanks Unsy - those "players" should have done much better for you before tonight.
