Whatever you say about Sam (& for the record, I was all for us giving him a 6 month contract to get us out of the hole Koeman left us in, but wouldn’t have given him 18 months. And hope we replace him at the end of the season, if not before.), he signings have been immeasurably better than Koeman’s.


I know that’s the lowest of bars, but Walcott & Tosun definitely improve us.

They strike me as circumstantial rather than positive for allardyce in a way. Walcott would have went to spurs if he played for anyone apart from arsenal, the fact they were in the market for a winger kinda confirms that as they wouldn't buy from arsenal. Tosun I suppose you do have to give Sam credit for as it's been reported that he wanted him at palace.

However it does raise the bigger issue that if allardyce identified tosun then again what is Steve Walsh getting paid for?

Damn his lies. If he told me the sky was blue, I'd get out a colour chart to make sure. The man thrives on dishonesty. He is exactly like Brenda when he was across the park. Saying absolute hogswallop, so that in 20 years time if anyone ever read what he said, they'd think he was a coaching behemoth.

Normally If I'm listening to Talksport first thing in the morning it goes straight off when two people in particular are on/guest presenters etc! Micky Quinn and Mr J Barton Esq!
