Personally, I hope he goes as it’s what’s needed long term. I think what he’s done in the short term does deserve some respect though because we were god awful when he came in.

If we do bring in some fresh faced foreign manager I’d actually keep him round for half a season as a consultant, but with no actual say or pull, so there’s actually some continuity at the club and it isn’t a total stab in the dark. Sure that would be a very popular option..

seeing the negativity around Big Sam here , i wonder what will happen if he stays and we have to get behind him and the team .

Everton fans havent got behind the team for years, thats nothing to do with Sam, we have been on the players backs for a long time. The numbers are there, the tickets sell, but if anything the best we do is hang on for 25 mins before the fume and boos kick in

about the 7th time you replied defending allardyce now, fans like you make me sick yenno

defending sam allardyce though basically worse than a kopite
It's all going a bit over your head isn't it.Not insulting or attacking our clubs manager doesn't mean I'm defending him.As I stated earlier in the thread if there had been alternatives on the market he wouldn't be anywhere near my choice to manage us.It just means I'm a realist. You can't name anybody else who was looking for a job at the time who had any experience in the Premier League or who had dealt with a group of players in a struggling side. You state that Walcott only came to us because we were the only side who could afford his wages, even though Chinese clubs have been throwing stupid money around on average players. And when you can't make your point in any sensible way you resort to the fallback Kopite insult or worse (whatever that might be).

If we had the fan base in the 80s that we have now Kendall wouldn't have made it to the Oxford game.
