That is an embarrassment and an absolute disgrace. And yet people will still come in here and make excuses for him.

Yes City are a cut above, but those stats are indefensible. The “Football” this bloke serves up is shocking.

And nothing to do with the inability of the players being unable to press effectively win tackles and pass the ball with any accuracy to team mates?

We have been like this against the bigger clubs for nigh on 25 years (with one or two exceptions.)

Getting regular batterings from Arsenal, not turning up against Man United, the ridiculous record against Liverpool.

Saturday was bad, but lets not pretend its a rare occasion that only Allardyce and his "football" can produce.

It has been happening for years.

Are we the worst team in premier league history? Because that is the lowest possession stats of any team against any opponent in this competition. So if it is purely down to our playing squad how is it that the Derby County side of 07-08, the worst team in PL history, finished the season on 11 points and were up against very good Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea teams, never had a game where they conceded so much possession?

Because no one, not even the manager of the worst team in history of the league, would employ tactics so defeatist as those employed by your mate Sam, that's why.

But you know Schneiderlin is lazy arl arse (and was picked to play, alongside Rooney no less, by Allardyce) and that's that.

He's under performed with our squad, under performed. So I don't understand what ANYONE sees in him to think he could improve us. He doesn't go for away games he doesn't even try in home games against big teams. Worst teams than us beat top six teams now and then. He's a dinosaur.

He has improved our league away record by 200% since he got here....

Just saying.

Nobody thinks he can improve us. Literally nobody, however he does seem to be getting treated differently to other managers we have had who all rolled over and died against these type of clubs too.

Lowest possession stats in PL history. Just because we've been bad against this mob for ages doesn't mean we should accept getting worse.

Does it matter how much possession they had when they only got 11 points? All that shows is possession aint everything.

We didnt have a great deal of possession when we beat them 4-0 last season either.

Funny old game and all that...

Of course we've had much worse results in the past, but if you weren't embarrassed by the fact we couldn't even string ONE pass together for long periods of the game on Saturday your standards are an awful lot lower than mine. It was utterly shambolic, and the worst thing is it was so obvious what was going to happen as soon as you saw the teamsheets. It was dreadful management, and the fact other managers have also been dreadful does not make it any more palatable.

Who is accepting it?

I don't give a toss about possession stats, they mean absolutely nothing. If we had 60% possession and lost 3-1 it would still be rubbish.

There was a clear game plan in the tie last year though, what was the plan on Saturday? As far as I can see it was try not to lose by too much. We're lucky Citeh took their foot off the gas as it looked like a cricket score was coming.

Yeah agreed.

Like it has been by and large for years.

Its crap, I am not "accepting it" but it did not surprise me in the slightest as it is totally par for the course.

It was yet another rubbish showing from an Everton side against better opposition. Throw it on the massive pile of other such performances.

Neither do I, I was only using it as one point to illustrate how poor we were and how defeatist our manager is. 3-1 was hugely flattering to us, if Citeh didn't have a big game midweek I am certain we would have been looking at a much larger defeat. They were all over us and there was no plan B for us after 3 minutes.

Cant believe some are still supporting him. if City didn't have the CL game they could have put their foot down and it could have been a cricket score, maybe that's what was needed to open some peoples eyes, or ,more likely the BFS "fans" are on the windup.

No not just the manager, this is what I am saying.

The club is defeatist. From top to bottom. Has been for aeons now, it is nothing new in the slightest but people are acting like we were regularly having a go at the big boys before Allardyce got here and that's just not true.

Allardyce is certainly not helping but he is not the overall problem merely part of it. It is way more deep rooted than that.

I don't even think it was our worst performance of the season. Think about that for a minute!

Who is supporting him mate?
