"I think we have all accepted that we can't compete with Arsenal". Sam Allardyce. Meanwhile...
Newcastle 2-1 Arsenal
Brighton 2-1 Arsenal
Swansea 3-1 Arsenal
Bournemouth 2-1 Arsenal
Watford 2-1 Arsenal
Stoke 1-0 Arsenal
West Brom 1-1 Arsenal
Southampton 1-1 Arsenal
Arsenal the only team in the Premier league not to win an away point this year.

Panache, excitement, goals, winning, all words missing from the FS managerial lexicon.

I hope the crowd make their feelings known at the Southampton game.

It's not just that, he has played the same game for 30 years and when he came to us he did so from retirement, so i very much doubt he is going to change his entire philosophy just because Moshiri and Kenwright want him to, it's not like he needs the money let's face it.

..I just wondered if he might fancy having something positive on his CV. It was a perfect opportunity for him to demonstrate he’s not just a survivalist but as you say, his teams play the same way. It doesn’t say much for Sammy Lee and Craig Shakespeare that they have bought into that philosophy. Steve Walsh is beyond redemption.

arsenal are a terrible league team, any sort of decent manager should have had us above them by now in the length of time ham-head has been here.

Guys like him and Savage don't really know what they are talking about so they just say the most outrageous thing and the BBC think it's "edgy".

I prefer the old boys like David Pleat whom I once heard say: "Stoke are finding it hard to supply balls into the penalty box and that, as we know, is the main area from which scoring attempts are generated".

They have to appear edgy or controversial because they have no personality it's why Savage has that hairstyle because he has to stand out from the crowd as his ability and now punditry is mundane and mediocre

...I agree that the Allardyce regime has run its course. Moshiri might actually say it was a successful appointment given the position we were in after Southampton away. For Allardyce to continue, he needed to take the shackles off and make us progressive after making us safe. He doesn’t appear to have the ability and vision to make that happen.
Sam should never have been considered we should never ever take someone of his ilk out of desperation ever again end of!
we turned him down quite rightly then crawled back to him he has overloaded us with coaches sports psychologist he has been a failure and at a cost on the field, and in the pocket -youngsters sent out on loan -lookman etc- we have an old squad the youngsters have been slowly edged out - he can not select a proper 11 players to start you know what the performance is going to be like -HOOF BALL!

There needs to be a significant and unified show of dissatisfaction towards Allardyce in the last 2 home games starting from next Monday night just to ensure that Moshiri and co are in no doubt whatsoever that there is absolutely no way in this world will the paying supporters accept Allardyce to still be the Manager when the season ends. They undoubtedly already know but it does no harm to reinforce it.

You still think he’s defo gone at the end of the season mate?

What gets me the most is for years and years he went on about wanting a chance at a big club, then he gets it and he has done himself absolutely no favours whatsoever when he does get the oppertunity. Another thing with him, i think when it came down to the last 16 of the Champions League a few weeks back, i saw something on another forum that said either 5 or 6 of the managers were on less money than Allardyce. Now Evertonians are not stupid fans, we know what type of approach he brings to a game, but i have to say i expected even just a little bit more than what we have seen for someone on £6m a year, and certainly not the repeatedly patronising press conferences and pre/post game comments he has constantly come out with. That might be ok for Sunderland and Palace, but we are not going to accept it at Everton.

I don't think he was referring to Allyrdyce , I think it was Chris Sutton.
I don't have a tattoo, I don't like them in any circumstances.
I don't remember when I previously posted about Allyrdyce being a hard man , I think you may be thinking of somebody else.
People posting on a chat room safe behind their keyboard about what they would do or would like to do to Allyrdyce, Sutton or anybody else does not impress me... hence my response.
I would also disagree with you about Allyrdyce as a player. I would have described as a tough uncompromising centre half. I have no idea if he chinned anybody as a player or as a pensioner as that does not impress me and why I am not impressed by so much on here.
Fair enough, I must have been thinking of someone else, I know you have objected to some of the comments about Allardyce and must have conflated two separate posters. Sorry about that.

Having once spent several seasons in The Park End I'm not sure I agree with this
