I’m getting more and more concerned that Sam is staying, after the survey and his disrespectful press conference I thought he would have been sacked this morning but I just can’t see it anymore and if he was to stay, I’d give Everton a miss next season, which is a really hard thing to say but he winds me up so much I’m going to end up having a heart attack

I'd say the forum is becoming as toxic as Goodison after a defeat, of late posters who won't insult Allardyce on an regular (tiresome) basis are being singled out as apologists. As for fun, there seem to be quite a few forum members with thinly disguised agendas.

Hi mate.

For the record.

There`s many on here who were against his appointment from day one, so there`s no " thinly disguised agenda ".

The miriad of reasons that so many were against his appointment, have unfortunately proved to be true.

This situation has led to the majority of the fence sitters, realising that they were wrong and as a result they now want him removed too.

Allardyce has developed bunker mentality of late, which isn`t nice to see, but the moment he decided to take on the fans and now seemingly some of the senior club employees, the end result was sadly predictable.

His "bullish" attack and blame everyone else attitude, perfectly compliments his " up and under " seventies style, industrial footy.

Unfortunately for him, football and management has moved, he hasn`t.

Cheers.

Doubt if anyone would have wanted him if there had been a viable alternative (who I'm sure you can name). His management style hasn't moved on since the seventies but his bank balance has and I'm guessing in a few weeks it'll move on a few million further.Or did you expect him to roll over and resign because the naughty fans hurt his feelings?

I`m sure the club would`ve eventually found someone more suitable, but as has been discussed many times, they panicked and this why we now find ourselves where we are now.

He`d never resign in a million years, as his ego wouldn`t allow it.

He`s a legend in his own mind and nothing is ever going to change that.

Those comments about Moshiri. They're encouraging. He's not spoken to him or had any promises made about next season. Add to that the concrete approach for Brands and the heavily rumoured move for Fonseca (and previous approach.)

If Brexit Sam were going to be here next season then there'd have been some statement defending him by now surely? It doesn't matter what Sam thinks, it matters what Moshiri thinks and that comment fills me with hope.

Whatever happens next, Moshiri must not allow this embarrassing survey episode get in the way of changing the manager. The idiot marketing director should share the same taxi as Sam. It would be interesting to hear their conversation. Probably only one would get out at the other end.

I would agree he won't resign because of his ego. However I am not sure whats in it for him if he stays. He cannot continue to play relegation based football next year from the off and he must know that's his strong(only) suit. Would you want to go through another 12 months of this for the same amount of money as you would get if you were fired now? He surely can't think he is building a dynasty at Everton. He is not part of the project???

I suspect his "meeting " with Moshiri today, may put him firmly in the picture as to his future.

If he gets told that he`s gone, expect his behaviour towards the fans to become more antagonistic, a la his last few weeks at West Ham.

Lots of posters keep saying this but then seem to omit the available candidates.

Because they understood that made a horrible mistake as soon as it had been done and it was a decision that cost them nothing. As I said before, they won't give a dam about what the fans what when it could financially effect them. Sacking BFS will cost them a fair bit of coin, they won't care what we want but will sack him based off what they think. They can afford to be magnanimous about non issues like the crest.

That 'non issue' is still on the first page when you Google Everton crest, it was in the top ten most read articles on the BBC news website and there was basically uproar over it. And it was changed as a result of the fan uproar; exactly what you said would never happen.

Of all the points you could have put forward in response to me, trying to claim that the crest wasn't an issue is the most ridiculous. You may well be correct that they won't change the manager as a result of fan pressure, but you said they would never make a decision based on fan opinion - that is demonstratably wrong and the crest is the demonstration of that.

He might pass his armband to a blue shirt, not sure about the ball though. Being a bit unkind there to a true blue. I think he will leave at the end of this season. He can't continue to bluff his way through. (Same comments applies to Sam).

Why is he an idiot? We have asked these questions before in previous surveys. Are you suggesting that because of our situation we should only stick to questions which give happy clappy answers?

As I said on another post, the fact that everyone including our manager have jumped on it tells you all you need to know.
