That would just be the most Everton thing ever. Short-termist and unambitious (which should really be our motto if you think about it).

Let's say that he does see out his contract... he's going to spend loads of money in the summer buying players to suit his style of play, and then at the end of next season when his contract expires, a new manager is going to come in and rip everything up and start again.

We need to lance the boil now and get rid of the balloon head and start planning for the long term.
If he stays to see out his last 12 months we are virtually writing next season off and then starting all over again .my fear with Moshiri is he seems to know Jack about the football side of things and seems totally out of his depth to deal with or rectify the situation

Never thought i'd say this but if Sam stays, i'll start to agree with davek about Farhad

So you've all probably see that league table showing that we'd be about 6th form wise so far based on BFS's time here. Well here's the other side of those flawed statistics......View attachment 45887
In the big picture, those stats are worth nothing. Had the season begun when BFS took over, we’d be 6th, ahead of Arsenal.
I still want another manager, but those 6th-statistics show he’s done well with us, and doesnt deserve all the crap he gets.

Dispense with the oaf...He is not going to resign and has over a year left in his contract. So we’re going to have to pay him his severance anyhow, now or in a month.

There are half a dozen manager contenders we should be closing on a deal and start date with now. We need the new person in before the season ends ideally to evaluate the current staff, give everyone a lift and plan next season’s recruitment.

Keeping this mollusc in a job is just aggravating the fan base and making us look completely clueless.

I think most realise, that no striker in the world is going to flourish with Allardyces current hoofball tactics and that in the right system, Tosun will be a good striker.
Plenty of posts starting to say he's too slow, can't hold the ball up.It'll be Walcott next.Guilt by Allardyce.

Been the story for so many years already.

What lasting damage has he done to the club in the transfer market ? Walcott ? Tosun ?

Blame him for the things where he has responsibility and not something he had nothing to do with.

I actually mean more in the way of selling off players like Lookman, Vlasic and Klaassen and refusing to dismiss links to Wilshere. I don't want to be Sam Allardyce's Brexit FC where having played a few games in the Premier League makes you a top player in his mind.
