He said he'd been discussing the team for next season and transfer budgets/targets and that clarity had been given. What more could he say?

I hope you're right, btw. But to me that press conference this morning pretty much confirmed that Moshiri has looked at where we are and has accepted that SA is a safe pair of hands for his investment and that there'll be no chances taken on a new manager.

I ask you again though: based on what evidence are you suggesting Allardyce will be gone after the season ends?

Your right, he has confirmed he is staying, but im guessing most people think he is on the wind up and knows he is either gone or nothing has been decided. But either way he has said he is staying.

I think he is staying, not because he has said so, but because Moshiri wont see a problem with him. Besides its possible we could win our last 3 games, or at least not lose them, which will save his job if its still 50/50

actually i can, read the body language and what he said, he never said he was staying. Read Lob post about what was actually said

*Sam talks about his discussion with Farhad about pre-season, when we're back, outgoing transfers etc.*

Journo: "So you're all on board together and looking forward to next year?"
Sam: "Didn't I just say that?" *laughs*
Journo: "Just for the sake of clarification"
Sam: "For clarification, yes".

You can read body language, the daily horoscope or whatever you want. He just said he's here next season.

Embargo will be similar stuff then.

"Not that Allardyce changed his tune when interviewed by the ECHO after the cameras had been turned off, again speaking about how encouraged he had been about the meeting and it’s unlikely his message changed in other interviews he conducted."

You`ve got to give it to him, he`s the Jedi master at popcorning

I don't want him here but I don't have love seeing some of our fans wet the bed.

You can keep saying "he's definitely going" all you want; just because you want something to happen doesn't mean it's going to.

I'm still waiting for Jessica Alba to bend me over the dinner table after all.

She’s bending you over? Wow. Strange.

was he as down beat as his tv interview?

Some of you are clutching at straws. Short of a top manager suddenly announcing Everton is the one for him, which is highly unlikely, Allardyce is definitely staying. If Silva is the only probable/likely candidate, who wants him anyway? Its only 12 months anyway not 3 years.

I am fuming just looking at what he said. I mean, seriously.

Just taken that from PhillyPultizer's latest piece on the Echo but probably not. Probably had a little smile on his face.

The mess.

No He didn't

He answering a different question.

He answer did you get clarification and he said yes, What he didn't say what the clarification was.

Yes because Sam never lies, He good enough to manage Real Madrid or Barca and compared himself to La Liga winner and 2 times CL finalist Simone

Only 12 months more of dross football accompanied by battling for the draw from the get-go, a dead Goodison, the most average of the average teams, no cups, no Europe, no good transfers.

Honestly how can anyone justify Fat Sam staying with that is beyond me.
