Once he goes , he will portrayed as a saint by certain aspects of the media. The most obvious aspect will be the refusal to delve into why he’s actually so unpopular. There is always the other point of view and when one is deliberately put aside you know something isn’t it right . So don’t fall for it fellow Blues, just see who is pushing the disingenuous crap and don’t listen to them again.

Let’s see if any of them suggest him for the Arsenal job....

They`ve been at it again on Talksport this afternoon :

" He`s done what he was brought into do, blah, blah ".

However they are starting to concede that he`s not the right manager to take us forward ;)

It's what is to be expected of the young generation of blues mate. They don't know any different or have even seen us win a trophy.

It's the media generation, everyone just listening to what is said in the media and not having independent thoughts anymore. The club hasn't helped, telling people how we're over achieving every year under moyes. Hiring relagation managers like Martinez. Taking too long to sack koeman, taking too long to get a new manager and then getting crap like allerdyce in when we finally do.

I blame kenwright, he got one thing right at his time in charge of everton and that was appointing moyes. Apart from that he has been found lacking in every decision he has made for this club. The kitbag deal ffs 30 million over 10 years. There are clubs getting that a year now! Sponsorship deals, investment deals and hiring of staff. All has been abysmal under kenwright. We were top 7 for a decade and earning under 2 million in shirts sponsors while relagation fodder like Sunderland got 10 times that at one point.

I'm sick of this club, our club being afraid of success. I'm sick of people like kenwright, sun tan bob, steve walsh and bloody dross like allerdyce being in charge of my club and thinking a top half finish is amazing. People like them who obviously don't have a plan for this club. Who want to portray this image of "plucky little old everton" punching above our weight.

Well they can all stick it where the sun don't shine as far as I'm concerned. How about we stick our chest out as a club and start reminding people that we are the 4th most successful club in England and start acting like it. Get a manager list and start with the top available managers if they say no, move on but a least try. The crap we've been linked with like Silva, veaira and the Porto manager ffs. I want a manager who's going to come in and people are going to take notice of everton. I want my manager to come in and on his press conference say "I'm here to win the leauge". Yeah we might get laughed at but i tell you what the more we project a image of importance the more the idiot pundits will start repeating it. Then the more people will start to believe it.

I don't want allerdyce or Steve Walsh in charge of everton but I don't blame them. In fact I feel sorry for them. The way Steve Walsh has been brought into do a job he blatantly doesn't have the knowledge or is qualified to do isn't his fault. Allerdyce has been brought into do a job and to be fair to him has done better then any of us expected him to do. But the way he has been used as a meat shield by the board is a disgrace.

They know that their hanging these two out to dry and while we're arguing over them we as a fan base aren't looking at the big picture. The big picture is these two are symptoms, it's the board that's the problem. Kenwright wants to swan off into the sunset this summer like he's been evertons saviour and try to get a stand named after him. You know what the worst part is, it's going to happen as well.

Hopefully this means with a new chairman, CEO, dof and manager all pulling in the right direction this can be the start of something we as a fan base can be proud of again, hopefully.
Top class rant mate, I pretty much agree with all of it ;)

Looking back on his appointment, no disrespect to other teams he’s managed, but Everton are the biggest club he’s been in charge of. We could also be the last big managerial contract he gets in the top league - until a relegation candidate panics next season like. He’s left England, West Ham and Newcastle under a cloud of fan unrest and massive controversy.

I don’t understand why he didn’t come here and think ‘I’m going to take this job by the scruff of the neck and make sure this is what I’m remembered for’.

Instead he’s reverted to type and alienated himself from the fan base and generally made a tit of himself. He’s not arsed as long as his bank balance swells.

I agree with what you are saying, but the reason he has not taken us forward as he does not know how to, he is a very limited and outdated manager

A lot of Fans have seen through him here, they watch the games, watch his pre and post match interviews, his demeanour , his attitude and ego. They see him for what he is and not the “big Sam” brigade malarkey.

While I think you make a good point of him possibly making the most of the job he got, he actually has for himself, his bank balance will benefit greatly after all this. The whole thing is just a farce and I don’t trust this board to deliver a plan and execute it , that will eventually see us break the boring routine of 8th, 7th etc .

Yeah I agree, but he picked the games he saw us taking points from and targeted them. Games he didn’t see us taking points from (arsenal away for example) he pretty much threw knowing he’d do enough to keep us comfortable in the table.

Why not take this opportunity to at least try and show you’re a better manager than that? I know I certainly would

brilliant that !!

Imagine being Wayne and going from being coached attacking Football by Ferguson to the most boring uninspired football dished up by Allardyce Imaginable.

Wayne wants to give it all to the fans and the club but clearly the manager has other ideas and can't gurantee playing time. It's so bullshit having Sam here he's not the one to take the club forward just a panic appointment to prevent relegation like that was going to happen

Id be very surprised if he’s leaving because he’s not part of Allardyce’s plans - he’ll have determined that he’s not part of an incoming managers plans before making that call.
