I honestly will be surprised if he gets sacked, he’s played dull as dishwater footy and got us 8th. Mental if we sack him. I can’t stand the fat crook either but to sack him cos you don’t like him is mental.

Not really - has one year on his contract. At best, we’ll be in this exact same position next season. Why wait? Yes it will cost us some money, but what this club needs is everyone pulling in the same direction.

..he’s certainly done well, I wouldn’t knock him for that and I think the vitriol against him is over the top. Saying that, going forward Allardyce has shown no indication he can be progressive. He’s capable of survival, he’s capable of getting points but we want somebody progressive.

I think sacking him is the opposite of progressive though, the lads want someone “ else”, whoever that may be, we are in for merry go round managers for a few years I think.

To be fair there is 14 of us going tomoz in a minibus and to a man we all hate him and hopefully we witness his last appearance...Its the full package.. total disrespect for us and turgid shocking zero optimismic ballbag hoofball...he needs firing to mars...but you want him here next year mate?

I didn’t say I wanted him here — I just said I would be surprised to see him sacked.

Do you reckon the away contingent will give him the usual treatment, mate?

Its practically unprecedented in our history that even when we win games and shout for the managers head....its been done to death on here...match going Evertonians enjoyment of going the game has been totally and utterly had the life sucked out of it...lets just hope its swift and for once we make the correct decision ...but whilst we have sesame street in charge that might be a bit fanciful...

There will be at least 14 giving it both barrels all game :)

For what it’s worth, I think he will get sacked and resort to insults as a result. These two in charge wouldn’t know a top managers capability if it landed in their laps — not that I believe allardyce is anywhere near top quality, but we are working with average players.

If he gets sacked it won’t be in the face to face meeting next week, Mosh hasn’t got the balls for such a manoeuvre, will probably blow smoke up his arse telling him he’s one of the family - then do it via an email the week after.

He's done 'a job' is how I'd phrase it. Doing 'well' would have included a big unexpected win or two, and less trolling of fans. But yes he pieced together a shambles (something he's done before)but let's face it we had better players than he's ever worked with before, two good forward additions, returning players from injury and a kinder run of fixtures of late. Yet he still showed little in the way of pattern of play or progression to suggest next season with him, regardless of who we bring in will be very different, turgid.
