If you're criticising him now, you're off your rocker.

Sure, you can be sceptical about his ability long term to get us playing the 'right' way and winning games, but playing the 'right' way simply hasn't been important in recent weeks - we simply needed points.

He's delivered. Spectacularly.

He gets until around October/November 2018 for me based on this run of results alone. Sure, he has to step up a gear in future months, but criticising him for not getting the team doing flicks and tricks all over the shop now is deluded.

Superb return so far. Absolutely excellent performance. It hasn't been pretty, but to say we needed the points is putting it mildly.

I will certainly be apologising if he gets us through in the cup.

Mature. Not surprised though as this is just about your level.

Pathetic

It's the small minority that still act like Allardyce has done nothing or been lucky.

We all know who they are, and with every anti Sam post they just embarrass themselves further.

This really. Yet to prove he's a long term option, but right now he's doing the business.

We were praying for this very scenario only a few weeks ago I recall.. some very short memories around here..

I am pleased that Alladyce is not pleased with our football. At least he recognises that so we know he will be attempting to add more expansive play rather than lighting up a cigar and patting himself on the back for his great points tally. Doesn't make for great viewing at the moment but would rather have the points in the bag and build from the back.

I didn't want him mainly for his style of football but he has got us winning ugly and that is better than losing playing pretty football. If he can get the right players in January and that striker that can score a good few goals in addition to Rooneys and Siggys goals then we will be very comfortable.
