Yep, totally agree mate. If the stadium comes through then fair enough he will have delivered on something massive. I just don't believe a single word he says. Him and Kenwright together must get through chatting some crap when in each other's company

At the moment a new stadium is the last thing we need to worry about.

When you play with a deep midfield shield in front of the back 4 the CB position is one of the easiest in football. It suits the likes of Williams to a tee, not much space to cover, less exposure and no expectation to find a blue shirt when he has the ball. Build a partnership with him all you like but it'll be ripped apart soon as the shackles come off.

For all I can't stand him I always thought he was quite savvy. His first big mistake for me were the two away games at Christmas, this latest quote is laughable and it looks a lot like we'll have an arrogance vs fanbase situation exactly like at WHU.

They also had our current head scout with them in the same capacity didn't they? Jobs fur the boys, it's the Everton way.

Walsh was brought in same time as Allardcye as his 'head of recruitment' mate, just ask baggage about what he thought about that recruitment policy ^^ - didn't realsie that the scout we brought in was with those two as well like...

Savvy people don't get caught on camera a few weeks after getting their dream job mate and being sacked for comment made

It happened at Newcastle to an extent and 100% happened at West Ham that the fans turned on him, and they both where relatively happy when they hired him, here the fans where already split massively about it, and the ones who did want him - a vast proportion didn't REALLY want him but was more a panic acceptance of him. When the fans turn he doesn't try to get them back onside, he confronts them instead. He does that here, then bye bye BFS.

Because the areas of the team and individual players are just picked seemingly without thoughts of how they effect and work as a unit.

Play a slow defence including either Jags or Williams and you need pace up top to give a release/outlet to the pressure.

Don't play any pace up front/wide, then need tom NOT play the slow defensive players and have to go with Keane/Holgate for example

Realise that certain players cannot play inn the same team as each other without both being infinitely worse as a result. Gueye/Schneiderlin (actually any combination involving Schneiderlin nowadays), Rooney/Sigurdsson and any left sided player in the same 11 as Martina.

Just off the top of my head, Pickford, Holgate, Coleman/Kenny, Sigurdsson, Gueye are all good enough to put into the team in their proper best positions, then pick the players around who compliment them, and if you don't have any that do, go and f'ing buy them

Buy a proper decent/good left back and solid centre half who has decent pace and the entire team shape changes.

just going off players who've moved in the last 6 months or have been rumoured to be available, stick a back four together of Kenny/Coleman, Holgate/Keane, Sakho (i know) and Shaw, pickford in behind and that team has pace, can play a high line, can provide width and attacking support and doesn't force attacking players into defensive roles (or mean we have to play players like Lennon because they can run hard...)

Who knows maybe in that set up the likes of Sandro, Klassen, Lookman, Vlasic could then be actually played and may perform as you wouldn't be asking them to do parts of their game not suited to the player

This 100%.

Iv said elsewhere, we cannot risk playing Kassen , Vlasic or Lookman at the moment, with our defensive frailty's.

They cannot be relied upon to supply the defensive cover we undoubtley need.

Until we get a decent LB in neither Klassen, Lookman or Vlasic will get the game time they need to settle in.

Less points per game than Unsworth secured.

Thanks for saving us Sam.

Not defending Allardyce's Everton, but you really need to give up on the cherry-picked, context-free stats. It really does you a disservice and weakens your argument.

Unsworth: Leicester, Watford, Crystal Palace, Southampton, West Ham.
Allardyce: Huddersfield, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Swansea, Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Bournemouth, Manchester United, Tottenham

Simply looking at average points over such a short timeframe completely misses the fact that under Allardyce we've played 4 of the top 6, and under Unsworth we played none of them.

What were your expectations for points over those matches?

I don't care what the stats say. Unsworth was taking Everton down.

I'm not going to attack Big Sam personally like some people on this forum have. I have heard people calling him names and saying awful things about his head, body shape etc. Yes he is a bad manager but we don't need to personally attack the guy and lower ourselves. That being said, Sam Alladyce is a big fat dumpling of a manager and we are a disgrace as a football team to even hire him. :-) fathead needs to go!!! He He (my apologies to Sam Alladyce if you are reading this post I got carried away).

Thanks for saving us Sam.

You are comparing managers overy a period of 5 league games and 9 league games respectively. The difference in average points tally in league games is negligible, and Sam has a better record than Unsworth if you include all competitions.

Unless you are comparing Sam to Unsworth's first stint as Everton manager, in which he had a very impressive 100% win rate?

My point is that the job at hand is a very difficult one, and I don't see Moshiri being stupid enough to hand over this massive task to some inexperienced bute whose defensive credentials are non existent.

Your thanks towards Sam are clearly sarcastic, but we would be much worse off without him imo. I think we would have been murdered in both Anfield games for example. I highly doubt that we would have drawn at home against Chelsea either. Our away form has been horrendous for months on end, and it was Mr Allardyce that brought us our first away win in almost a year.

Our squad is so crap that it could actually go down with the wrong manager in place, and for that reason I don't see Sam going anywhere until at least summer 2019.

I completely agree with what Allardyce said about the team being unprofessional yesterday.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42678376

It's easy to throw criticism at Allardyce for yesterday, but we have far too many cowards in that squad who down tools at the first sign of trouble and some of them have done so consistently since as far back as Martinez.
"It was a completely undisciplined performance after the second goal went in, which hugely surprised me," said the former England boss.

Allardyce, who took over at Goodison Park in November following the dismissal of Ronald Koeman, has now seen his side fail to win any of their past six games in league and cup since the 3-1 win over Swansea City on 18 December.

"It's out of order," Allardyce told BT Sport. "[You have to] play your way back into the game and be professional about it. It shocked me. I haven't seen it since I got here. I've got to cut it out, starting tomorrow.

How much do you want to bet these players that "hugely surprised" Fat Ass Sam with their unprofessionalism will be starting with nothing changing in the next match?

Wow! This really scares me! Big Sam until the summer of 2019. I actually don't want this to happen but I think you are right. I don't think they will get rid of him at the end of this season and that really pisses me off!

I think quite simply he will take us to the brink and then fish us out. Ninth may be our best position as the squad looks clueless in front of goal. I see a tough slog in. Allardyce has a single approach and we have been found out.

I personally can’t wait till we play West Brom.

Same formation, same tactics. Tosun up front on his own with the proviso no one is within a t least 30 yards of him at all times, Schneiderlin and Gueye in midfield to pass it backwards, sideways or to the opposition, Martina patrolling the left flank, Rooney pulling the strings, Bolasie on one one wing falling over his feet, and Siggurdson the other blowing out of his arse trying to cover, get forward and score, and one of the three sloths partnering Holgate at the back.

No need for training this week. They all look like they’ve been working shifts in a factory anyway.
