We didn’t play badly against Leicester.

Clearly he’s taken a view on this game and making sure the squad is fully fit going forward.

We could have been 2-0 down inside 10 minutes lid, let’s see how well they would have played when the crowd turned. Plus, thankfully Mahrez through a massive tantrum before the game because he didn’t get a move

Sugar coating the absolute bollocks he’s been serving up

Imagine writing off big games to give players a 'rest' when you've only got league games to play all season.

The fat Sam way.
He's a visionary mate he has worked out that the best way to keep your best players fit is not to play them.
After all football pitches can be dangerous places and it would be madness to spend millions on players only to risk them getting hurt.

I'd almost always look at the players first when we've played badly, but the reason we were so bad today is because of the formation and line-up. And that's down to the manager.

The scariest thing for me is, and I want Allardyce out as much as the next blue, but what will sacking him achieve? Four managers in two years. Why would the players react any differently to another? Thought I knew the answer when we had Koeman and Martinez? Now I haven't got a clue.
