People need to understand that the players Allardyce has inherited are garbage left behind by Koeman and Martinez. Theo Walcott, one of Allardyce's signing, has been shining. Alllardyce needs to be given the summer with proper financial backing, to get rid of a lot of garbage and invest in good signings, which should form a spine of our team, like he did with Walcott. Let's not forget, Allardyce dug us out of this relegation battle.
Hello Mr Moshiri, and thanks for your interest and investment in our club.

He didn't really. Unsy got us winning in his last game. Sam had the bounce effect, on top of the fact that the players found a glimmer of confidence.

Since then his constant meddling has sapped that away. Im a positive person, but once I saw the team sheet today, I knew it would be a cricket score. It was an utterly bonkers selection.

If I can see this, why can't a supposed pro who's paid a fortune to pack a team with defensively minded slugs who conceded after just 6 minutes.

Give me job, I'll do better.

Allardyce is rightly in the firing line here but let’s not forget regardless of who is picked / Tactics etc that display from our bunch of cowards was a disgrace to the past players who have worn our shirt - this is not just the current manager who they have got rid of.

Agreed. But he’s picked the team and formation and he knows the cowards.

"I'm not suited to Bolton or Blackburn, I would be more suited to The Dog and Duck or The Bluebell," Allardyce said.

Fixed......

Apparently got angry with the reporters when asked about Lookman. That kid will NEVER wear our jersey again while this prat is manager. There is no way back now and no way his ego could potentially take the hit of him being wrong.
I doubt Lookman will want to come back if Allardyce was still here either.

I said when we appointed him that he would leave a legacy that would last well beyond his tenure. And not a positive one either.

I've seen absolutely nothing so far to make me change my mind.

More outbursts like todays and he will completely alienate the players, if he hasn't done so already. The longer he stays the more likely we will be dragged into a relegation battle.

I expected that the victors over Leicester would at least form the nucleus of the side today. Despite Coleman's absence I thought we might have come to have a bit of a go and that Wednesday's spirit might provide some momentum. But no. I don't think Sam had any expectation of getting even a point.

For the rest of the season we'll beat sides like Palace and Southampton at home and pick up a few points elsewhere, avoid relegation and start anew next season with a new coach and some new faces.

Sacking Sam now will only present his successor with a poisoned chalice.

Just passing through as WHU fan. Just want to say that reading these threads was the same forums we were having a few years ago. BFS is a nightmare. ‘Respect the point’. Feeling for you guys tonight. BFS is an arrogant, clueless dated manager. Good luck for rest of season.
