Sammy Lee

It would be a good thing if Unsworth leaves to cut his teeth in the managerial world for real, it would prove he's got ambition and big set of cojones. People wanting him to replace Koeman as permanent first team manager in the immediate future are suffering from a serious case "emotional doping" as Arsene Wenger once said.

People scoff at the idea of giving the job to someone like Eddie Howe, a bloke who's taken Bournemouth from League 2 to the Premier League with no money. Yet Rhino would be a great appointment? Based on what, winning a youth league where results don't really mean anything? You can't have it both ways.

In regards to Sammy Lee, it's yet another own goal by Koeman. Nothing against Lee as a bloke, been told he's a good guy who loves the game and gives everything in every job he's had. When your own supporters have lost faith in you though and are so restless that every mistake is being viewed as merit for sacking the last thing you do is give a job to an arch-rival. Ronald really has zero understanding of the fanbase and that has been his downfall.

He's an experienced coach who might help Koeman turn things around.

We've taken lots of good former-RS people before, like Sheedy, Beardsley and Ablett.

His past is irrelevant.

I think he could be good for us.
