Been saddened by this whole affair. Everton look foolish once again, and it reeks of a big name player wanting out of a small time club he joined by mistake - that's the impression, whatever the reality is.

Can't understand how hard it would have been for Everton and Eto'o to come out and say it was for family reasons if it was.

No news article mentions any type of fee. Are we getting anything for a player that was contracted to our club and is signing for a team in the top 4 of Serie A?

No fee, leaving Everton as a free agent and saved £6million in wages, we will get £2 for every game he plays & 50p for every goal he scores

There are a ton of big name fallen stars on QPR and hell they might win the championship next year.

Samuel Eto’o has seen his official Sampdoria presentation postponed by Everton paperwork.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Press conference was planned for today at the Genoa Aquarium.

However, the necessary international transfer has still not come in from his former club Everton.

It will be postponed by red tape and at this stage the most likely date for Eto’o to meet the media is Thursday.

The Cameroon legend was already informally introduced to the fans at Marassi during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Palermo.

He was sat in the stands with President Massimo Ferrero and fellow new signing Luis Muriel.
