Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o looks set to leave Sampdoria this summer after an underwhelming spell in Italy. Eto'o, who joined the Genoa club from Everton, scored only twice in 18 appearances and has been linked with a move to MLS.

When asked about Eto'o's future, Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero said to Sky Italia: "I think this little bird is destined to fly towards other shores. "As far as I'm concerned, he could stay for life as I wanted him and chose him to come here.

"He is a great champion but if he wants to leave, then he can follow his heart... and his wallet."
Let's face it, he's a whopper.

A talented whopper, like....

Still don't understand this Rom hate - he got 20 goals for an under-performing side.

no hate.
yes there was a collective under performance and Lukaku's contribution to the collective was seriously below average.
Under closer examination 20 becomes 8 prem goals + 2 poorly taken pens. for 28M we have the makings of a richmans big Vic.

anyway back on topic...that Eto'o eh, he wanted to keep talking the talk without being able to still walk the walk.

Judge the lad when we have a playmaker behind him, not Steven effin Naismith who can't make a 2 yard pass
