Is he still showing a tendency to be a bit lop-sided and crouch down for the ball?

He looked like he was playing rugby at times last season. He has to be more direct and incisive but adapting is tough and he would have been used to more time on the ball.

A decent coach would rectify that. Of all of our flops, I’d like him to be the one that turned things round the most.

He won’t be on the pitch enough to get 10 goals. Walcott/Richarlison will surely be ahead of him.

These players have to take a pay cut if they want to play football mate its that simple. I would make it known to all of them if they dont move they wont even be in the squad all season and force the issue.

This whole "we don't want to sell Bolasie but are open to offers" rhetoric is weak from the club imo.

It’s not that simple. They have contracts. Sat pretty I’m afraid.

Sadly, I think the days of players taking a pay cut to play are gone. The agents won’t let that happen. To get these players out, they want a “loyalty bonus” for not asking for a move, a signing on fee from the other side & the selling club to make up the shortfall in wages for the outstanding duration of contract.

I'll give him credit where it's due. He worked very hard. Played some fine passes to spring us onto the break. That final pass and shot is just letting him down so badly. My instinct still says he's not going to cut it, but I respect him for his efforts and determination to keep looking for the ball.

He’s worth taking a chance on I reckon, more so than Klaassen anyway. I just worry if he’s ever gonna get enough consistent gametime here to get into his rhythm. Not sure how much use he’d be as an option off the bench?
