At least with Perez, Arsenal made their move before he was actually at the club. I think it's a positive sign that Sandro has been to USM Finch Farm and is speaking directly to the club. If Arsenal were interested, I doubt they would have left it as late as this to register their interest.

We could be gazumped at any time but we can only control the offer we make and how we conduct ourselves in talks and the impression given of the club.
