Great minds think alike, I was thinking just the same thing! Siguardsson knows Swansea are effectively pricing him out of a move. I'm sure he isn't happy about that, but then again he doesn't seem the personality to rock the boat and hand in a transfer request.
What cannot be denied is that is our spending this week has caught the imagination of the media and it's possibly why sandro has committed himself to the 'project' as koeman refers to it.

It's more than just 'can' play L/W. He can play behind a striker, as the main striker, or either wing. Look at the video, he played l/w or r/w for Barcelona B and their first team many times. Mirallas is gonna have to improve vastly if he's intent on keeping Sandro out of the team.
