People should note that Sandro has played 3 times for Spain u-21s, 1 start and 2 as a sub, and all between September 2014 - November 2014.

This is only his second start and considering he's been overlooked for nearly 3 years it is understandable that he's finding his feet in the team.

Hardly been in it first half but that's no bad thing until he signs on the dotted.
Still quietly impressive for me. Worked hard, made plenty of good runs, and showed a couple of touches of class.
Deprived of service. Surprised he didn't come deep to get the ball.

interested to know how walsh finds these cheap deals like this and gueye. How does he find things like this out in contracts? Is there some sort of database which stores this data, or is it a case of making an interest in a player and then looking over their contract for such things.

Not sure why these spanish clubs insert these ridiculously low release fees in players' contracts, same as deulofeu.

Agents.

Geri didnt have a release clause.

One thing that struck me in the first half is that Sandro seems a little too nice. Making good runs and not getting the ball but just accepting it. Needs to be more assertive and demand it.

I think Spain going up early has limited his chances on the ball as well. They probably could have played him through very easily on a few occasions, but they didn't feel the need to press the issue.

Didn't do anything wrong, but Geri and co. have badly let him down. Made loads of great runs yet had little service, e.g. Geri chose to go alone rather than square it for an easy tap-in, and Saul could have easily fed him but went for a pot shot. His passes have all found the feet of his teammates, no giveaways with his first touch which is always a good sign.
